Tromsø is the closest major airport, approximately a 30-minute drive from the lodge.
Who Is This Trip For?
This trip is ideal for intermediate to advanced ski tourers with good fitness and solid off-piste skiing skills. Previous touring experience is required.
OVERVIEW
Arrival Day
ARRIVAL: Fly into Tromsø, the largest city in northern Norway.
MEET & GREET: Meet your guides and fellow participants.
GROCERY STOP: Visit a local grocery store on the way to the ski lodge.
BRIEFING: Overview of the week's itinerary, safety protocols, and equipment check.
Daily Routine
MORNING: Wake up, enjoy breakfast, and prepare for the day's tour.
SKI TOURING: Each day features a different route, with vertical drops ranging from 800 to 1,400 meters.
Destinations vary based on snow conditions and group ability.LUNCH: Packed lunch on the mountain (not included — participants prepare their own lunches).
EVENING ACTIVITIES: Enjoy dinner, plan the next day's route, and relax with the group. With a bit of luck, you might witness the Northern Lights!
Departure Day
FAREWELL & TRANSFER: Your guide will accompany you to the airport for your flight home.
Accommodation
Your Basecamp in the Heart of Arctic Nature
Our guests stay in a spacious and cozy house, ideal for relaxing after a day in the mountains. The house is divided into two separate apartments and offers a total of six double bedrooms for guest use.
You'll find all modern comfort so you can focus on what matters most: exploring the Arctic and enjoying your ski touring adventure.
Our basecamp house offers great opportunities to see the Northern Lights – right from the doorstep! If the skies are clear, you may be treated to a magical aurora display in the evenings.

Meals
Participants are responsible for their own meals, but we encourage shared dinners during the trip. Small groups (1–3 people, depending on the total group size) take turns preparing one evening meal for everyone. It's a great way to connect, share stories, and enjoy your Arctic adventure together.
Before the trip, we'll create a WhatsApp group for participants. This makes it easy to coordinate shared dinners, ask questions, and get to know each other ahead of your Arctic Norway adventure.
During the trip, we'll go grocery shopping as needed to ensure everyone has what they need for meals.
Skills and Fitness Required
This trip is suitable for experienced ski tourers with advanced skiing skills and some prior backcountry experience. Participants should be in good physical condition.
You should be confident skiing black diamond runs at ski resorts in a variety of conditions, and able to navigate ungroomed intermediate slopes with ease.
Weather and Safety
Arctic weather can be unpredictable, so flexibility is essential. Daily assessments of weather and snow conditions are conducted to ensure your safety.
If a planned excursion must be canceled due to weather, an alternative activity will be arranged for the day.
Equipment
High-quality ski touring gear is essential for a safe and enjoyable experience. This includes touring skis, skins, avalanche safety equipment (modern beacon, shovel, and probe), and appropriate clothing for Arctic conditions.
