Lyngen Alps Ski Touring Weeks

Experience a full week of ski touring in one of the world's most iconic mountain ranges
We organize two guided Lyngen Alps Ski Touring Weeks in late February and early March of 2027. With a maximum of five guests per group, you'll enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, flexible planning, and personalized guiding throughout the week.
Our goal is simple: to ski the classic routes that have made the Lyngen Alps famous. The tours are designed for recreational ski tourers with previous backcountry experience who enjoy steady ascents, rewarding descents, and unforgettable Arctic scenery rather than chasing maximum vertical.
Daily tours typically include 800–1,400 metres of ascent and descent, allowing plenty of time to travel at a comfortable pace, enjoy the mountains, and adapt each day to the weather, snow conditions, and the group.
During the week, we also plan one rest day. Rather than fixing it in advance, we decide the timing together based on the weather, snow conditions, and the overall pace of the group. If poor weather limits skiing, the rest day provides the perfect opportunity to explore the region. Optional activities may include a visit to the vibrant Arctic city of Tromsø, sightseeing, local cafés, museums, or simply relaxing and recovering before the remaining ski days.
Guide
Experienced guide with extensive local knowledge take care of every aspect of your ski touring trip in Arctic Norway. From daily planning and avalanche assessments to finding the best snow and ensuring a safe, rewarding experience — you're in good hands.
How to Get There?
Tromsø is the closest major airport, approximately a 1 h 45 min drive from the lodge.

Meals
Participants are responsible for their own meals, but we encourage shared dinners during the trip. Small groups (1–3 people, depending on the total group size) take turns preparing one evening meal for everyone. It's a great way to connect, share stories, and enjoy your Arctic adventure together.
Before the trip, we'll create a WhatsApp group for participants. This makes it easy to coordinate shared dinners, ask questions, and get to know each other ahead of your Arctic Norway adventure.
During the trip, we'll go grocery shopping as needed to ensure everyone has what they need for meals.
Daily logistics
- routes chosen daily based on weather and avalanche conditions
